For our Business Partner with Scandinavian capital, who has been successfully operating on the international market for almost 80 years – one of the world’s largest elevator manufacturers, selling and distributing in over 70 countries, we are looking for a candidate for the position of:

BUSINESS ANALYST / PRODUCTION BUSINESS CONTROLLER – new Factory

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of month closing and responsible for COGS, inventory valuation and similar.
  • Analyse and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, production and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee cost structures for production and operations, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within production and operations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align operations with business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and operational guidelines, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

 

Tasks:

  • Prepare, develop and present reports on operational performance and cost structures.
  • Analyse variances between budgeted and actual production costs, providing explanations and recommendations.
  • Support the evaluation of investments areas and analyse their impact on costs and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse procurement and inventory, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Participate in projects focused on process improvement and operational streamlining.
  • Work closely with Finance Manager/Controllers in the Swedish factory and Director PU Gdańsk.
  • Initially managing 1 employee – later changes possible.

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education (Bachelor’s degree) in finance, production engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in controlling or similar tasks, ideally focused on production, procurement or operations. Experience in manufacturing or production industries, preferably in a global context.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and ERP systems (Monitor knowledge a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes within the production environment and company structure.
  • A functional/communicative level of English to handle internal and external communication effectively (spoken and written).
  • Independent and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Structured and detail-oriented with a solution-oriented mindset.
